Integrity Of Your Heart
by Ed Hirsch - Family-Content.com

Do you mean what you say?

Being honest is usually meaningful and worthwhile.

Are you speaking with authenticity in your life ... "This is who I am and This is what I do?!"

If there exists doubt somewhere in the back of your mind when you do or say something (or even in your heart), this may be direct cause for why things may not be going in the direction you may desire. You do not want your words and/or actions to be empty (nor your results).

The Direction or Intent of your heart (or the meditations of your heart) will produce specific words, actions and results.

Act, Ask, Plan and Think with Faith - Not Doubt.

Before you even begin your day, set your mind in faith ... that you KNOW that your expectations will turn real.

If your heart is true, pure and intending to do good for others, it WILL happen.

For most of you, as is true for myself, this requires a Leap of Faith ... or the definition of Faith being a firm belief in something for which there is no proof, complete trust, something that is believed especially with strong conviction. Faith's best definition I have seen is in the Bible,

"NOW faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."
Hebrews 11:1

Remember Forest Gump?

Even though he was a little slow, his heart was in total integrity.

After watching this movie, I felt a tremendous peace in my heart by the way he lived his life.

He had struggles, like we all do. But his heart ruled his actions and his emotions did not distract him to pursue empty rewards.

The world admired his character due to the integrity of his heart.

When you finally decide that you will make something of this life, do what Forest Gump did and *RUN*!

... or in my words, just put your head down and continue to work your plan. If your plan is not sound, utilize the rest of this year to make it sound and use 2003 to live better.

Would you like to practice random acts of kindness with no intention of chasing the almighty dollar?

Did you know that seventy eight percent (78%) of employed people HATE their jobs?

In fact, corporate America's nightmare is - Dying of a heart attack at their desk!

And, in a recent survey, white-collar professionals were asked if they would take a 20% pay cut to have 20% more time with their families. Ninety-six percent said, "Yes."

Let's think and mold ourselves wisely this year end and really figure out what is most important in our lives ... then act upon them.

The clock is ticking, the hours and days and years fly by too quickly to comprehend. Set your heart right and become all you can, living with integrity so others have a good example to follow.
