Haitians And The Tall Poppy Syndrome

You know, its really unfortunate but true.

I've realized that certain Haitians, not just Haitians but blacks, period has this syndrome.

We have been taught to hate ourselves because we've been treated that way. Some of us hate others we see that are successful because we're lacking success ourselves and we hate ourselves for it, therefore we reflect what we truly feel about ourselves upon others.

Furthermore, we've been forced to think that other groups are better than us...

so we take that mentally...

we get jealous instead of proud of our own people.
